Imagine the excitement of Howard Carter as he stumbled upon Tutankhamun’s treasures, forever changing our understanding of this ancient civilization. Next, stand in awe of the Temple of Hatshepsut, a breathtaking terraced wonder carved into the cliffs. Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh to rule Egypt in her own right, defied tradition with this architectural masterpiece, a testament to her power and ambition. As the sun begins to dip, be captivated by the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues remnants of a colossal temple complex. Their stoic gaze stretches across the millennia, silently guarding the secrets of the pharaohs they once served. In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner onboard as your Nile River Cruise sails towards Edfu.

Day 3: Traditions of Edfu & Kom Ombo

Rise with the sun and prepare for a fascinating exploration of Edfu Temple. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, this grand structure boasts intricate carvings and hieroglyphics, offering a captivating window into ancient Egyptian mythology. Imagine priests performing sacred rituals and offerings to the powerful sky god within its hallowed halls. Later, journey to the unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. After a leisurely afternoon soaking up the sun on the sundeck or indulging in onboard activities, the evening comes alive with a captivating Galabeya Night, donning traditional Egyptian attire and immersing yourself in the vibrant music and lively entertainment.

Day 4: Philae’s Magic & Felucca Dreams

As the morning sun paints the sky in warm hues, embark on tour to the enchanting Philae Temple. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this island sanctuary exudes an aura of magic and mystery. Its elegant colonnades and hieroglyphics stand proudly against the backdrop of the Nile, a testament to the enduring power of love and devotion. As the sun begins its descent, experience the magic of sailing on a traditional felucca. Feel the wind caress your face as you glide along the Nile, witnessing the fiery hues paint the sky in a breathtaking display of nature’s artistry. In the evening, join a Nubian dance performance. 1. Sophie Vermosen

Merci !!
