Day 1: Friday

Reception at Cairo airport and then transfer to the airport (Sofitel or similar near the airport)

Day 2: Saturday

Early breakfast and then Cairo airport transfer to Luxor airport
Reception at Luxor airport and then visit of Karnak and Luxor temples and the great avenue of Sphinxes and then installation on board Dahabyia 5 * Merit (or similar)
Lunch and dinner on board.

Day 3: Sunday

Breakfast on board and then early departure for the discovery of the west bank of Luxor:
The Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatespsut Deir El Bahari and The Two Colossi of Memnon
Lunch on board and then navigation to Edfu via the Esna lock
Dinner on board.

Day 4: Monday

Breakfast on board during the navigation and then visit the temple of Edfu
Lunch on board while sailing to Kom Ombo
Dinner on board.

Breakfast on board and then visit to Kom Ombo temple
Lunch while sailing to Aswan

Breakfast on board and then check out of Dahabyia, visit of Aswan: the Aswan dam, the high dam and temple of the goddess Isis on the island of Philae
Check in at the Movenpick 5* luxury hotel on the island of Elephantine

Very early breakfast at the hotel and early departure to Abo Simbel

Breakfast at the hotel and check out and then transfer to Aswan airport to Cairo airport
Reception at Cairo airport and then visit of the Cairo museum, lunch in a typical restaurant, the Citadel of Saladin where there is the mosque of Mohamed Ali and the Islamic district where there are old houses and mosques and the famous Souq of Khan El Khalili

Breakfast, departure for the discovery of the Giza plateau where there are pyramids, the Sphinx and the funerary temple of King Khepherne
Lunch in a typical restaurant and then the discovery of the first pyramid in the world, the step pyramid at Saqqara and the visit of certain mastabas, ancient tombs,

    En juin je suis parti en Egypte avec mes enfants et petits enfants. avec Georges nous avons visité Louxor, le temple de Louxor, le temple de Karnak, le temple d’Edfou à 100 kms de Louxor, mais aussi la vallée des rois, et plein d’autres endroits. C’était magique. Georges peut s’occuper de tout y compris des problèmes de transport (voiture avec clim évidemment et chauffeur. Depuis plusieurs années Georges est mon guide et je fais toutes mes visites avec lui. Il est absolument merveilleux, sur ses connaissances de l’Egypte et de son histoire, mais aussi passionnant sur la vie égyptienne. Je viens de rentrer d’un nouveau séjour en septembre à Louxor et nous avons Georges et moi revisiter le temple d’Hatchepsout. Ses commentaires sont toujours superbes .
    Pour notre visite du Caire il m’a mis en relation avec un de ses collègues qui parlait lui aussi très bien le français et qui a aussi été parfait.
